She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Simerly and Lena Hill Simerly; her husband Junior Jarrett; her son Dale Jarrett; and her brothers, Jimmy and Roy Simerly.
She is survived by: her sons, John (Ruby Jarrett), Jimmy (Amanda Jarrett) and Robert "Todd" Jarrett of Hampton; her sisters, Margaret Hampton (late Paul Smith) of Roan Mountain, Darlene Smith (Harold) of Roan Mountain, Gladys Winfrey (James) of Roan Mountain and Lisa Holtsclaw of Roan Mountain; and her grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Ashley, Matthew, Samuel, Destiny, Jacob and LeAnna. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
