We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2024, at the age of 30, Jeffrey Chad Highsmith of Hampton, Tennessee, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncle Richard Highsmith; his aunt Ann Hicks; and his grandparents, J. B., Peggy Highsmith, Roy and Pat Tester.
He is survived by: his parents, Frank Highsmith of Roan Mountain and Leslie Davenport (Steve) of Hampton; his close friends, Lesley Tolley, Logan Ingram and Stuart Ingram; his son J. B. Highsmith of Hampton; his brother Chris Highsmith (Jessica) of Elizabethton; his nephews, Clayton Hinkle of Elizabethton and Bubbie Hinkle of Elizabethton; his stepsiblings, Maggie Charles (Josh), Nathaniel Davenport (Beth) of Virginia and Jeremy Davenport (Chasity) of Ohio; and his cousin Chad Jones.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to East Tennessee Children's Hospital in memory of Jeffrey.
