He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Baird and Flossie Dugger Baird; and his sister Kathleen Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Opal Ward Baird; his children, Lora Odom (Mike), David Baird (Felecia) and Karen Simpson (Tony); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Carden, Michael Shepard, Stacey Proffitt, Christopher Johnson, Matthew Stocton, Alex Odom and Jacob Baird.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Baird to the donors favorite choice.
