He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert John and Stella Marie Street Simerly; his siblings, Linda Birchfield, Norman, DC and Ed Simerly; and his nephew Brian Chambers.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Lynn; his son-in-law Andy Montgomery; his grandchildren, Kaytie Depew (Austin), Corbin Montgomery, Collin Montgomery and Caeden Montgomery; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Depew and Harlo Depew; and his siblings, Shelby Hughes, Brooks Simerly (Sandy Gruhot) of Hampton, Nick Simerly (Betsy Rainbolt) of Hampton and Gary Simerly (Jeanne).
