It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Glenn Hicks (Hampton, Tennessee), who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Allen Hicks and Eula Marie Potter Hicks; and his son Jonathan David Bennett Hicks. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Hicks, Lonnie Hicks, Marty Hicks, Kathy Sharkey (Lawrence) and Lisa Hicks; his close friend Anita; and his pet Zeus. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family requests that those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton to help with expenses.
