He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold McKinney and June McKinney; and his wife Mildred Berry McKinney. He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen Woodby (Jack) and Sarah Teach (Brett); his grandchildren, Jessica Woodby, Cameron Teach and Faith Teach; and his brother Leslie McKinney.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:50 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Berry Cemetery.
