He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Ray; his brothers, Joseph Ray Stevens, James Foster Stevens and Archer Nelson Stevens; and his brother-in-law Clyde Poarch.
He is survived by: his parent Anne Beryl Archer Stevens; his siblings, Lee Roy Stevens (Marlene) of Seattle, WA, Hattie Bell Poarch of Elizabethton, Peggy Stevens of Hampton and Mary Lou Livingston (Richard) of Elizabethton; his niece Sue Pierce of Elizabethton; and also Lee Garland of Hampton.
