The memory of Allen N Simerly of Hampton, Tennessee, who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Simerly, Jr. and Edith Frances Arnett Simerly; and his brothers, Bradley, Danny and Leroy Simerly.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Stout Simerly; his children, Rebecca Self (Jeremy), Priscilla Payne (Tony) and Rev. Timothy Allen Simerly (Donna); his grandchildren, Donna Marie (Garrison Barnes), Kayla Wishon (Aaron Somers), Keshia Ferguson (Don), Travis Blevins and Robert Pierce; his great grandchildren, Grayson Barnes, Elias Wishon, Ellie Wishon and Kaelynn Barnes; his siblings, Judy Guinn, Melva Doris King, Janie Guinn, Jill Stansberry and Teddy Simerly; and his aunts, Ruby Sloope and Billie Birchfield.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the John Whitehead Cemetery.
