In the sacred silence of farewell, Vernon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vernon's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray and Maggie Lou Heath (Johns); his wives, Esthel Deloris Thrasher Heath and Peggy Jean Cole Heath; his stepson Phil Love; and his siblings, Evelyn Archibald, Emma Gay and Ray Heath.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Heath Ogden of Tiptonville, TN; his stepdaughters, Becky Hall of Halls, TN and Diane Brasfield of Friendship, TN; and his son Vernon L. Heath Jr. of Halls, TN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Halls Funeral Home (109 N Church St, Halls, TN 38040). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
