He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Snodderly Oliver; his son Dennis Clayton Oliver; his siblings, Raye Oliver Cooper, Ruby Oliver, Mae Oliver Turner, Charles Oliver and Leo Oliver; and his parents, Daniel Webster Oliver and Bertha Jane Chesney Oliver.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Oliver and Deborah Suffridge; and his granddaughter Hazel Suffridge.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A procession was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
