He is survived by: his wife Sue "Jacobs" Nelson; his sons, Dees Elmore (Jana) of Halls, TN and Chuck Nelson (Angie) of Gates, TN; his siblings, Joyce Nelson of Ripley, TN, Doug Nelson of Forked Deer, TN, Billy Nelson of Ripley, TN. and Bobby Nelson of Ripley, TN.; and his grandchildren, Katie, Magen, Lindsey, Josh and Ashley.
