He was predeceased by: his parents, Newt Joyce and Edna Joyce; and his siblings, Robert, Kayo, James, Mildred, Zelma, Mayme, Jenny and Lockey.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Joyce; his daughter Rhonda Womack (Guy); his grandchildren, Joshua Womack (Miranda) and Ashley Duffey (Luke); and his great grandchild Baby Duffey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
