He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray and Maggie Lou Heath (Johns); and his sisters, Emma Shepherd and Evelyn Archibald. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Heath of Halls, TN.; his children, Susan Mashburn (Jay), Angela Bonnett (Ricky) of Ruston, LA and Zach Heath (Trisha) of Jackson, TN; and his brothers, Vernon Heath of Halls, TN and Bill Heath of Memphis, TN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
