He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Franklin and Mary Louise Bowles (Crutchfield); and his siblings, Patsy Rice, Joyce Marie Goodman and Jerry Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bowles (Goforth); his children, Paula Kay Hawkins, Felisha Lemons and Tim Bowles; his stepsons, Scotty Kiestler and Michael Kiestler; and his siblings, Martha Lee Smith, Janice Bedwell, Rita Carol Nailleux, Tammy Steel, Danny Bowles, James Bowles, Phillip Bowles and Roger Bowles.
