She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde and Sarah Katherine Cates (Koonce); and her husband Virgil Bernell Bowie. She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Wiggins of Friendship, TN, Darlene Kasch (Denny) of Tampa, FL and Sherri Hancock of Halls, TN; her siblings, Lanette Hilliard of Halls, TN, Judy Newman of Halls, TN and Danny E. Cates of Halls, TN.; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Bowie of Halls, TN and Bernece Davis of Oxford, MS.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1great great-grandchildren.
