She is survived by: her children, Brenda O'Neal, Jay Byron, Robert Buel Smith Jr., Jackie Wayne and Joe Smith Jr.; and her siblings, Lowell and Verlin Gideon. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
