He was predeceased by: his father Elic Buckner; and his brother Jerry Buckner. He is survived by: his mother Louise Buckner; his children, Kassi Buckner and Matt Buckner of Halls, TN; his siblings, Anita Cullum (Buddy) of Ripley, TN, Carolyn Horner of Halls, TN and Jim Buckner (Susan) of Ripley, TN; his sister-in-law Donna Buckner; and his close friend Pam Byrd. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
