He was predeceased by: his former wife Daisy Childress; his wife Elizabeth Childress; and his son Vic Childress. He is survived by: his granddaughter Kelli Knight (Ray); his great grandchildren, Madison Payne and Lola Knight; and his nephew Bob Ellison (Mary).
