He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Frank Gooch. He is survived by: his mother Emma Jean Qualls Gooch of Halls, Tennessee; his sons, Anthony Gooch of Dyersburg and Christopher Gooch of Lenox, Tennessee; and his brothers, Lee Patrick of Dyersburg, Daryl Gooch of Tiptonville and Wallace Rice of Dyersburg. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
