She was predeceased by: her father E. C. Gilliland; her former husband Wendell Crider; her brother-in-law Bobby Jones; and her stepfather Edward Crider. She is survived by: her mother Martha Archer Crider; her husband Jimmy Ballard; her children, Lita Thomas (Kevin) of Frog Jump and Timothy Crider (Cathy) of Jackson, TN; her siblings, Sandra Jones, Bonnie Fincher (Jackie) and Noel Gilliland of Frog Jump; her grandchildren, Bethany Evans (Kenton), Jonathan Thomas (Suesanna) and Chester Lavelle Sharp (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Kalen Sharp, C. J. Sharp, Jr., Justin Sharp and Elijah Evans; and her great great grandchildren, Dimetrius Sharp and Reggie Sharp. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
