With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Joan Nichols Barnett (Halls, Tennessee), born in Maury City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 16, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Nichols and Esther Pyland Nichols; and her siblings, Ezra Nichols, James Wilburn Nichols, John Lilburn Nichols (Teen), Mildred Bolding and Gussie Hughes.

She is survived by: her husband Royce Barnett of Stanton, TN; her daughters, Darla Dedmon (Jesse) of Brownsville, TN and Debra Rodgers (Tracy) of Brownsville, TN; her grandchildren, Greg Rodgers (Katherine) of Stanton, TN, Taylor Dedmon (Hope) of Lakeland, TN and Katie Dedmon (Dayton Gay) of Brownsville, TN; her great grandchildren, Ben Rodgers and Evie James Dedmon; and her sister Virginia Rhea Tritt of Maury City, TN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
