Jerry Lynn Simmons Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lynn Simmons (Halls, Tennessee), who passed away on November 5, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Simmons and Pearl Simmons; his brothers, Levy Dykes, Howard Dykes, Perry Simmons and Bill Simmons; and his grandson Jeremy Wampler.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Simmons; his children, Teresa Wampler (Rob), Tina Adkins (Wade) and Jerry Lynn Simmons, Jr. (Kendra); his grandchildren, Lea Wampler, Derek, Kayla Wampler, Sean, Katasha Adkins, Nicole, Cody Neikirk, Roger, Bethany Simmons, Eric, Mackenzie Simmons, Kayla Conner, Hunter Conner and Trevor Conner; his sister Betty Amanns; his son Ted Johnson (Sandy); and his granddaughter Kathy Crowe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
