He is survived by: his son David Hughes; his daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth; his daughter Angela Hughes Crocker; his son-in-law Hal Crocker; his stepchildren, Kevin Mustain, Melanie Mustain Bivens and Christi Mustain Schoepke; his grandchildren, Brianna Hughes Baskin, Charissa Hughes Ruiz, Josiah Hughes, Jaeden Hughes, Katie Joy Hughes, William Yates Hazlehurst and Sarah Hazlehurst; his great grandchildren, Asher, Altair Baskin and Isabella Ruiz Hughes; his sister Julie Hughes Spurlock; and his pets, Zorro, Bobtail, Clementine and Rusty.
