It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Marie Spoon of Halls, Tennessee, born in Finley, Tennessee, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oner Flatt and Lavern Flatt of Dyersburg, TN.. She is survived by: her husband Vandel Spoon; her children, Richard Spoon (Vanessa) and Amy Smith (Randy) of Halls, TN.; her grandchildren, Madison Ebert (Jeremy) of Jackson, TN, Emma Smith and Rylee Spoon of Halls, TN; and her sister Pat Rice of Jackson, TN.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family ask that memorials be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
