He is survived by: his wife Kathy Childress; and his children, Gary Childress (Mitzi), Michael Childress, JoAnn Smith (Joey), Roger Smith (Tammi), Navy Smith, George Smith (Monica) and Melissa Smith. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 2 brothers.
