She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Joyce and Willie Jo Hickerson Joyce; her daughter Judy Balentine; and her siblings, Walton Joyce, James Joyce, Maxine Edwards and Joy Ann Barksdale.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Plunk (David) of Halls, Tennessee; and her brother Hal "Bubba" Joyce of Gibson Wells. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
