He was predeceased by: his parents, Herlie Gilbert and Ruby Haskins Parsons; his wife Brenda Lois Parker Parsons; his former wife Judy Parsons Agee; and his sister Yvonne Baker Gordon.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Martin (Harvey), Ryan Parsons of Shelbyville and Kim Holmes (Wallace) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Chase Martin (Megan) of Murfreesboro, Hannah Landers (Will) of Madison, AL, Haustin, Hamilton Parsons of Shelbyville, Mark Leverette (Chelsie) of Shelbyville and Brittany Adams (Clint) of Shelbyville; and his great grandchildren, Liza, Ginnie Kate, Emmett Martin, Charlotte, Judith, James Landers, Carter Leverette, Abel, Aiden and Allyanna Adams.
