With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Lou Burgin of Halls, Tennessee, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Archie Lee Burgin; her parents, Joe Abner and Dicie Abner; and her siblings, Gladys Murphy, Ellen Kitts, Barbara Valentine, Bob Abner and Thurman Abner.
She is survived by: her son Lynn Burgin; her grandsons, Anthony Burgin and Jeremy Burgin; her great grandchildren, Piper Burgin of Ella Burgin, J. J and Vella Burgin; and her siblings, Gene Abner and Juanita Beckham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Byrd's Chapel Cemetery (11270 Yarnell Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932).
