He is survived by: his wife Joyce Delph Shands; his children, Malinda of Clanton, AL, Cathy Shands of Clanton, AL, John Wayne of Tulsa, OK and Steven Michael Shands of Tulsa, OK; and his siblings, Russell Shands of Illinois, Randy Shands of Halls, Juanita Carmack of Lauderdale Co, Linda Scott of Alamo, Darlene Shroder of Indiana, Pam Brown of Missouri and Joy Manners of Henning. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
