He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Sims and Lula Jones Sims; his wife Mary D. Nichols; and his son-in-law James Arthur Horton. He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Horton of Guys, TN and Pat Davis (Larry) of Bethel Springs, TN; his grandchildren, Stacy Horton (Laura) and Brian Hendrix (Tracy); and his great grandchildren, Easton Horton, Allison Allen (Hunter), Chalie Horton, Lyndsey Young and Annalyn Hendrix. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
