He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Owens and Alma Owens; his daughter Velda Lea Owens; his grandson Jason Ford Owens; and his sister Jennie Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Allan Owens (Marty); his children, Thomas Bruce Owens (Pamela), Jack Clinton Owens, Marilyn Ruth Owens, Russell Ford (Rusty) and Sheryl Beagles Owens (Sheri); and his siblings, Carol Kisselburg and David Owens.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Guild First Baptist Church at PO Box 246, Guild, TN 37340.
