It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Mae Newsome of Gruetli Laager, Tennessee, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Claiborne and Ethel Claiborne of LaFollette, TN.; and her siblings, James, Charles, Conley, Odis, Junior Claiborne, Margie Pierce and Jean Ayers (Pap Newsome).
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Dykes (Dion) and Melissa Stocker (Joe); her grandchildren, Kristen Kilgore (Michael), John Ross Jones (Lindsay), Zack Jones (Shasta), Haley Stocker (Ben), Hunter Stocker and Callin Stocker; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Christian Jones, Asher Faith Kilgore and John Archer Jones.
In lieu of flowers the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to one of Wanda's favorite charities in her memory.
