She was predeceased by: her mother Mary M. "Duck" Johnson Nunley. She is survived by: her father James H. "Mutt" Nunley; her sisters, Jean Nunley, Janie Smartt and Elaine Tan Brown; her half-sister Gladys McGee; her brothers, Maxie and Clarence Nunley; her half-brothers, Bill and Charles Nunley; her brother George Nunley; her husband Billy Joe Braden Sr.; her children, Melanie Peterson (Jason), Billy (Gretchen), James and Braylen Braden; her siblings, Lois Seagroves, Donna Knost (Bernard), Pam Morris (Craig), Kate Braden (Barry) and Joe Nunley (Ann); her grandchildren, Karastin, Kyla, Bryson, Cody, Jordon, Kaylee and Rylee; and her great grandchildren, Tristin, Lindley, Shayde and Emaree Ruth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Swiss Colony Cemetery (315 Swiss Colony Cemetery Rd, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37339).
