She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hargis and Ova Melton Hargis. She is survived by: her husband James Smith, Sr.; her sons, Steve Smith and George Smith; her siblings, Bill Hargis, Jimmy Hargis and Mary Wise; her sons, Jimmy Smith, David Smith (Andrea) and Charlie Smith (Robin); and her grandson George Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
