He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herschel Grimes and Ethel Juanita Vaughn Grimes; his siblings, Juanita Griffith, Lee, Charles, Earl and Carl Ray Grimes; his wife Connie Roach Grimes; his son David Grimes (Marlee); his siblings, Joe Grimes (Charlotte), Benny Grimes (Bobbie), Wayne Grimes, Carolyn Shipley (Darwin), Ellen Lemons (Grady) and Irene Campbell (Terry); and his grandchildren, Lukas, Kaylee, Kallie Grimes, Amber and Bethany. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
