He is survived by: his mother Jeanetta Tate Finch; his wife Maria Finch; his sons, Ross Edward Davis and Herschel Lee Finch IV; his stepson Kenneth Davis; his daughter Diana K. Hudson; his stepdaughter Jean Anna Jacob; and his brother John W. Finch. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
