He is survived by: his wife Joyce Layne McDaniel; his children, Eric, Dewayne, Daniel McDaniel (Tesa), Tammy Layne and Teresa Slatton (Bill); his siblings, Gaylon McDaniel and Christine Caldwell; his grandchildren, Kason McDaniel, Crystal Bivens (Wayne), Felicia Floyd (Kyle) and Cody Slatton (Alexis); and his great grandchildren, Aiden Stevens, Drayten Anderson, Camden Slatton and Finley Floyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
