She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Pickett and Irene Johnson Pickett; her husband Willie Smith; her daughter Susan Hosaflook; and her brother Jack Pickett.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Costello (Donna) of Waverly, TN and Jennifer Costello of North Carolina; her stepdaughters, Mary Beth and Olivia; her siblings, Joe Pickett of Gruetli Laager, TN, Tom Pickett (Thelma) of Altamont, TN, Ralph Pickett (Melissa) of Gruetli Laager, TN, Doris Tidwell of Altamont, TN, Sue Taylor of Gruetli Laager, TN, Mary Nunley of Tracy City, TN, Debbie Pickett of Gruetli Laager, TN and Peggy Palmer of Tullahoma, TN; and her great grandchild Numerous. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Mrs. Smith's wishes were to donate her body to the Department of Anthropology University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
