With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Hargis of Grimsley, Tennessee, who passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Opal Hargis; his sons, Frankie Hargis and Joel Hargis; and his parents, Mitchell Hargis and Ova Lee Hargis.

He is survived by: his children, Barry Hargis (Deborah), Ritchie Hargis (Jackie), Linda Stevens, Wanda Abblett (Chuck) and Vicky England; and his daughters-in-law, Lisa Hargis and Cynthia Hargis. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
