He was predeceased by: his wife Willie Thelma Earls; his parents, Dan Earls and Clara Richmond Earls; his children, Johnny Earls, Patricia Earls and Gay Earls; and his siblings, Ruth Daniel, Goldie Cook, Daniel Earls and Gilbert Earls.
He is survived by: his children, David Earls (Cyndi), Mark Earls (Vickie) and Shannon Earls. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
