She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Medling; her parents, Ozro Goad and Mollie Florine Richie; and her siblings, Becky Trout, Lucy Brewer, Reba Hollis and Gerald Goad (Raymond Goad).

She is survived by: her children, Trevor Medling of New Johnsonville, Mark Medling of New Johnsonville, Johnny Medlingof McEwen and Melissa; and her sister Nancy Esch (Judy Harris). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
