He is survived by: his wife Thelma Galey Cooper of Greenfield; his children, Gayla Porter of Daphne, AL, Stan Cooper of Slidell, LA, Ricky Cooper of Laverne, TN and Phillip Cooper of West Hills, CA.; and his siblings, Ruth Johnson of Greenfield and Thomas Cooper of Lansing, MI.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
