Dartha L. Godwin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025, at the age of 91, Dartha L. Godwin of Greenfield, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dartha is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dartha's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband L. C. Godwin; her son Danny Godwin; and her parents, Lewis Wollums and Mytrle Bell. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Cothran (Darrell), Ginger Byars and Patricia Capps. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (2209 N Meridian St, Greenfield, TN 38230). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
