He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Swindell and Lula Porter; his daughter Sandra Wolfe; and his siblings, Geraldine Walker, Johnny Swindell, Porter Swindell and Jessie McDade.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Swindell of Greenfield; his children, Keith Swindell (Michelle), Suzanne Kroll (Alvin Jones) of Greenfield and Trina Norton (Rick) of Cleveland, TN.; and his sister Betty Porter of Greenfield. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
