With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William West (Greeneville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son William Craig West; his parents, Ralph Jackson West and Anna France Brown West; his brothers, Charles West and Lloyd "PeeWee" West; and his brother-in-law William Thomas Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Davis West; his children, Finette Craft (John) and Jack West; his grandchildren, Brennan Craft, Allyson Ellenburg (Chase), Heath West, Rachel West, Collin West (Acelan), Chloe West and Jarrod West; his great grandchildren, Ava West, Levi Ellenburg, Foster Ellenburg, Kaysen Seckler and Hendon West; his siblings, Shirley Raby (Frank) and Lyle West (Becky) of Knoxville; his sisters-in-law, Joy West and Alice Davis; his close friends, Jerry and Crystal Weems; his parents-in-law, Fred Boyd Davis and Margaret Colleen Sizemore Davis; and also, Kenny, Bueana Morrison, Nicky and Brenda Parton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Cedar Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church (4170 Newport Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
