He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carter and Alberta Carter. He is survived by: his grandsons, Gavin Noe, Landon Noe and Logan Carter; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Bob Radford of Rockford; his brother Dan; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby Carter of Fairview, Larry (Brenda Crum) and Carolyn Hembree. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society dedicated to research.
