He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Patterson and Kailey Patterson; his brother William Thomas Patterson; his grandparents, Jon, Nedra Nieman, Kimberly Patterson-Bowen, Monte Bowen and Scott Patterson; his great-grandparent Mary Laws; his great-great-grandparent Frank Newton; his uncle Dakota Nieman; and his aunts, Lindsey Reed and Courtney Randolph.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made as seed money for The Wesley Theodore Foundation and its mission.
