She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Holt, Sr. and Cecil Hill Holt; her siblings, Robert Holt, A. J. Holt, James "Froggie" Holt and Ruby Armstrong; and her son Michael Gladwell.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Jr.; her children, Lee Gladwell (Vivian) of Greeneville and Melissa Gladwell of Charlotte, NC; her grandson Adam Gladwell; and her siblings, Nancy Holt and Edgar Holt, Jr..
