The memory of Tommy Sams of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 67, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Bralynn Keasling, Addie Keasling, Josh Estepp, Peyton Estepp, Brady Estepp and Lakelynn Sams; his great grandchildren, Bentley Estepp and KotaLynn Chandler; his parents, William Sams (Lyle) and Wanda Sams; and his sister Tenisha Collins (Bunky).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sams; his children, Cheree Keasling, Tiffani Dotson (Mike) and Dakota Sams; his sister Tammie Street (Bob); his siblings-in-law, John Collins, Glenn, Cathy Trent, Lisa, Eric Pearson and David Coffey; his parents-in-law, Jimmie and Emma Coffey; and his close friends, Rhonda, Kenny Kilday, Amande, Ralph Myers, Issy Rosado and Claudia Martin. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral Home (101 Graceland Ln, Afton, TN 37616). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Graceland Memorial Gardens (101 Graceland Ln, Chuckey, TN 37641).
