He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sheffey and Anna Belle Sheffey; his brother Donnie Sheffey; and his parents-in-law, Amos and Elizabeth Cruey.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Cruey Sheffey; his sons, Tony Sheffey (Aley Willett) and Teddy Sheffey; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Sheffey, JoAnn Southerland, James Ralph Cruey and Charles Cansler. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
